Renault Master E-Tech EV van pricing announced: Electric cargo carrier arrives under $80K

Renault has confirmed Australian pricing and specifications for its new-generation Master E-Tech electric van ahead of local arrivals later this year, with the large commercial EV set to join a rapidly expanding electric van market.

Priced from $77,990 before on-road costs, the new Renault Master E-Tech will launch in Australia in the second half of 2026 in two variants, with buyers able to choose between mid-wheelbase and long-wheelbase body styles.

Pricing is set at $77,990 plus on-road costs for the MWB standard-roof model and $79,990 plus on-road costs for the larger LWB standard-roof variant. Power comes from a front-mounted electric motor producing 105kW and 300Nm, paired with an 87kWh battery pack. Renault claims a WLTP driving range of up to 409km, positioning the Master E-Tech among the longer-range electric vans currently confirmed for Australia.

DC fast-charging capability peaks at 130kW, with Renault quoting a 15 to 80 per cent recharge time of 38 minutes on a compatible fast charger.

The Master E-Tech has a 2000kg braked towing capacity and payload figures ranging from 1084kg to 1164kg depending on configuration. Gross Vehicle Mass is rated at 3500kg.

Those payload numbers are down on the diesel version of the new Master that launches ahead of the EV. That reflects the reality of heavier batteries chewing into carrying capacity.

The E-Tech is also outdone by the smaller Farizon V7E, which claims up to 1300kg pof payload and has starting price under $50,000 to be Australia cheapest electric commercial van.
