Mad video: G-force overload as we ride with F1’s Liam Lawson in Ford’s 4000Nm electric SuperVan

With acceleration to rip the skin from your cheekbones, Ford’s SuperVan 4.2 is an electric Transit with performance from another planet.

We strapped in beside New Zealand F1 ace Liam Lawson for a few laps around parts of Adelaide’s old Grand Prix street circuit, enjoying driving genius to go with 1500kW and 4000Nm of quad electric motor bonkersness.

Check out the video of our man Iain Curry trying to concentrate, speak and breathe while being pounded by G-force and sub 2-seconds to 100km/h acceleration. We’re still not sure he’s fully recovered…
