Subaru Uncharted Aussie pricing announced, Solterra and Trailseeker discounted up to $4000 at the same time!
Subaru has confirmed pricing and specification for its new all-electric Uncharted small SUV ahead of its Australian launch mid-year, with the new model becoming the brand’s cheapest EV locally.
At the same time it has announced cheaper pricing for Model Year 2026 (MY26) Solterra mid-size electric SUV and its brand new big brother, Trailseeker.
The Uncharted is priced from $59,990 before on-road costs, while the Subaru Solterra AWD drops from $63,990 to $61,990 before ORCs and the Solterra AWD Touring from $69,990 to $67,990.

The Trailseeker AWD drops from $67,990 before ORCs to $63,990 and the Trailseeker AWD Touring from $73,990 to $67,990.
“This announcement reflects Subaru Australia’s ongoing commitment to delivering
excellent value for its customers, ensuring its vehicles remain competitively priced without
compromising on the quality, performance, or innovation that Subaru customers expect,” a Subaru statement read.
“Customers who have recently placed orders or are in the process of completing a
purchase are encouraged to contact their Subaru Retailer for further guidance on how this
update may apply to their purchase.”
While the Uncharted is the cheapest Subaru EV, it still sits at the expensive end of the compact electric SUV segment against rivals such as the Kia EV3 and BYD Atto 3 and is more expensive than the cheapest Tesla Model Y ($58,900).
The Uncharted will be offered in Australia in a single, highly specified AWD variant powered by a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system producing a combined 252kW.
Subaru claims the compact SUV can accelerate from 0-100km/h in approximately five seconds.
Energy is supplied by a 74.7kWh CATL lithium-ion battery, with Subaru quoting a preliminary WLTP driving range of up to 522km.
DC fast charging capability of up to 150kW is claimed to allow a 10-80 per cent recharge in around 30 minutes, while AC charging tops out at 22kW.
Like other Subaru SUVs, the Uncharted combines its electric drivetrain with standard all-wheel drive and off-road-focused systems including Dual-mode X-Mode, Grip Control and Downhill Assist Control. Ground clearance is rated at 211mm.
Inside, the Uncharted features a 14.0-inch infotainment touchscreen, 7.0-inch digital driver display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual wireless phone chargers and a 10-speaker Harman Kardon sound system.
Other standard equipment includes synthetic leather trim, heated front and rear outboard seats, heated steering wheel, panoramic 360-degree camera system, digital rear-view mirror, powered tailgate and 20-inch alloy wheels.
Subaru’s latest Safety Sense suite is also standard, incorporating adaptive high beam, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, parking sensors and a driver monitoring system.
Two option packages will be available locally, adding either a panoramic roof for an additional $1200 or a panoramic roof combined with two-tone paint for $2400 extra.
The Uncharted is a non-identical technical twin of the incoming Toyota C-HR+.
It adopts a more coupe-like fastback silhouette than the boxier Solterra, with flush rear door handles and slim LED lighting signatures.
Subaru Australia says pre-orders are now open ahead of first customer deliveries scheduled for mid-2026.
