LDV extends Australia’s cheapest electric van at $47,990 as eDeliver 7 gets huge $9000 discount
LDV has extended its electric van discounts until the end of August, keeping the eDeliver 5 priced from $47,990 drive-away and slashing as much as $9000 from remaining stocks of the larger eDeliver 7.
The deals, which are restricted to ABN holders, mean the eDeliver 5 continues as Australia’s cheapest new electric van, undercutting the recently arrived Farizon V7E by $2000.
The eDeliver 5 SWB low-roof remains priced from $47,990 drive-away, while the LWB low-roof costs $50,990 and the LWB high-roof $52,990.

The eDeliver 5 went on sale in Australia in mid-May priced from $47,990 drive-away, shortly after Farizon announced a $49,990 drive-away starting price for its new V7E in April.
LDV’s extension therefore doesn’t establish a new price benchmark, but ensures the eDeliver 5 retains the EV van price crown through August.
The entry eDeliver 5 also compares favourably with the cheapest Farizon on battery capacity and driving range.
All three eDeliver 5 variants use a 64kWh lithium iron phosphate battery and a 120kW/240Nm front-mounted electric motor. The SWB has a claimed 335km WLTP range, dropping to 321km for the LWB low-roof and 301km for the LWB high-roof. DC charging peaks at 70kW.
By comparison, the $49,990 Farizon V7E Standard Range combines a 50kWh LFP battery with a 110kW/230Nm motor and claims 240km WLTP range. Its advantages include faster 100kW DC charging, a 1338kg payload and 6.95 cubic metres of cargo volume.
The eDeliver 5 SWB carries up to 1200kg and offers 6.6 cubic metres of cargo space, while the LWB versions increase cargo capacity to 7.5 and 8.7 cubic metres and payload to 1265kg. The LDV also has a 1500kg braked towing capacity compared with 1000kg for the Farizon.
But the biggest individual discount in LDV’s extended promotion applies to the larger MY23 eDeliver 7.
The eDeliver 7 SWB has been cut by $9000 to $54,990 drive-away for ABN holders, while the LWB is now $56,990 drive-away.
That puts the eDeliver 7 into increasingly competitive territory against newer electric vans including the Farizon V7E Extended Range, priced from $53,990 drive-away, and the Kia PV5 Cargo, which starts at $55,990 before on-road costs.
The aggressive EV deals form part of a broader LDV van promotion that also includes substantial discounts on diesel models.
“Whether you need a van big or small, with diesel or electric power, LDV has a comprehensive choice of vehicles,” said LDV Australia general manager Dinesh Chinnappa.
“With more Australians ordering goods online and having parcels delivered, demand for vans remains strong.”
The extended LDV offers run until August 31, 2026 and apply to eligible ABN holders.
