Volkswagen ID. Buzz Good-Night Pack: This is the official camper conversion the all-electric Kombi always deserved
Four years after it was originally launched, the Volkswagen ID. Buzz is finally available with a Good-Night Pack that turns the all-electric people mover into a camper.
On sale now in Germany as an accessory that is expected to be rolled out to other markets soon, the new Good-Night Pack introduces a range of hardware and software upgrades designed to make the ID. Buzz better suited to overnight stays.
The biggest change is a new bed frame that sits over the rear seats and comes with a custom-made two-metre-long mattress.

Also included are a foldable table and chairs, internal blackout window covers and ventilation grilles for the front doors.
What’s missing is a pop-up roof, kitchenette and bathroom facilities.

Choose the option and Volkswagen also adds a dedicated camper mode for the climate control system, allowing owners to heat or cool the ID. Buzz for up to 48 hours.
The interior lighting also gains a new dimmer function.
The ID. Buzz is already available with vehicle-to-load (V2L) capability, allowing it to power cool boxes, coffee machines or recharge an electric bike.
In Germany, the Good-Night Pack costs €2600 (about $5000) and can be fitted to either the short- or long-wheelbase versions, regardless of seating configuration.
Volkswagen has confirmed the new camper pack will be offered in right-hand-drive markets, including the UK, paving the way for a potential Australian launch.
