Leaked! Audi e-Tron GT performance EV
The Audi e-Tron GT has leaked days ahead of its global debut.
Overseas websites and social media have published various images of a white e-Tron GT production car.
While Audi has teased plenty of details with the e-Tron GT concept car that was shown late in 2018, the final design of the car that will hit the road later this year was due to be shown on February 9.
Not that there are wholesale changes. The e-Tron GT production car maintains the concept’s overall shape and style but changes some of the details, including wheels and grille.
That means four doors with a coupe-like silhouette.
Underneath, the e-Tron GT shares plenty with the Taycan from sister brand Porsche.
That includes an 800V electrical architecture and dual-motor setup that will be marketed as Quattro.
Inside, there is a familiar Audi theme, albeit with the focus on modern materials rather than traditional wood.
A prominent horizontal dash element splits the touchscreen from ventilation controls and the compact transmission selector.
The e-Tron GT is shaping up to be one of the fastest accelerating Audis ever with a scorching e-Tron GT RS version sitting at the top of the lineup.
The claimed 0-100km/h time is less than 3.5 seconds and it produces up to 475kW and 830Nm when using the overboost function.
