Where can I charge an EV?

For most people, most of the time, EV charging will be done at home, assuming you have a wallbox to provide overnight charging.

But, if you’re out and about, there are more and more charging stations being opened, typically in shopping centres or carparks.

Longer term, expect Australia to follow the model set up in Norway, where service stations add some charging stations to their sites.

You can check websites such as PlugShare to establish where your car can be charged.

Just make sure you know what charging plug your EV uses.
