Cheap Jeep: Prices slashed on slow-selling 2025 Jeep Avenger … the only cheaper all-electric SUV is the run-out MG ZS!
Jeep’s first-ever EV is now one of Australia’s cheapest all-electric SUVs.
An end-of-financial-year promotion has unlocked incredible savings of up to $16,000 on the slow-selling compact electric SUV.
Only applicable to the base model, the Jeep Avenger Longitude normally costs $49,990 plus on-road costs (ORCs), equating to to $56,000 drive away in states like Victoria.
But the new deal slashes that cost to just $40,000 drive-away.

“Substantial factory bonuses” are also available on the Avenger Limited ($54,990 plus ORCs) and the Avenger Summit ($60,990 plus ORCs), but Jeep Australia has not revealed how much you’ll save or where the savings are offered as they’re at the discretion of Jeep dealers.
Following the discount the Jeep Avenger became one of Australia’s cheapest electric SUVs, with the $40K drive-away price undercutting the new Hyundai Inster ($39,000 plus ORCs) and the larger BYD Atto 3 (from $39,990 plus ORCs).
However, it remains behind the run-out MG ZS EV ($36,888 drive-away).
The Avenger EV also slides under the new MG S5 EV which is priced at $40,490 drive-away till May 31 and then reverts to ORC pricing.
But for those penny pinchers looking for the cheapest EV period, both the GWM Ora ($35,990 drive-away) and BYD Dolphin ($29,990 plus ORCs) are better value.
In Australia the battery-powered 2025 Jeep Avenger comes with just one powertrain that combines a 115kW/260Nm front-mounted e-motor and a 51kWh battery, delivering a WLTP-verified range of between 391km to 396km.
And despite its low price even the entry Avenger Longitude comes with a 10.25-inch infotainment system, reversing camera and keyless starting.
The latest discount follows a last-minute pre-launch price cut for the Jeep Avenger of up to $4000 but it seems even that didn’t exactly ignite interest in the small SUV.

In the first four months of 2025 Jeep delivered just 21 new Avengers in Australia. Clearly it hopes these huge savings could see more of Jeep’s baby EV find homes.
Elsewhere in Jeep Australia’s line-up, big end-of-year savings have also been introduced on both the Jeep Gladiator Rubicon and the Jeep Grand Cherokee.
While the ute has had its price slashed from $87,250 plus ORCs to $76,000 drive away, the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited five-seater now costs $62,000 drive away, down from $72,950.
Jeep has hasn’t said how many Avenger EVs or traditional combustion-powered Grand Cherokee or Gladiators are eligible for the new massive discounts.
Fuelling the incentives is the news that in the first four months of this year just 711 Jeeps found homes, a substantial drop of 24.4 per cent down year-on-year.
