Thousands slashed off cute EV: Fiat 500e gets discounted drive-away pricing

The 2025 Fiat 500e has followed the trend of other EVs by receiving a price cut to tempt Australians to take another look at the cute city-slicker.

Announcing that from now until September 30 pricing of the Fiat 500e would drop from $52,500 plus on-roads to $49,990 drive-away nationwide, the latest price cut will only apply to the Fiat 500e La Prima.

The sportier Abarth 500e Scorpionissima escapes the cuts and still costs $60,500 before on-road costs.

It’s been rumoured that the new discounted price could become permanent although the Italian car-maker has not yet made any announcement. But it’s believed that work has begun behind the scenes to introduce a lower-priced variant of the 500e that has been created to sit below the La Prima.

Currently the Fiat 500e only comes with a single e-motor that produces 87kW and 220Nm of torque that, combined with a small 42kWh battery provides for a modest 311km range.
