It’s the 2026 Leapmotor A10 that has just been revealed at the Guangzhou motor show ahead of an on-sale in China in the first half of 2026.

Admittedly not yet confirmed for Australia, the A10 is a small SUV that should major on space thanks to its upright stance and blocky proportions that has similiarities with the B10.

Measuring up around 4310mm long, the A10 should dump the Chinese version’s advanced LiDAR for Europe and Australia and come with a development of the same powertrain used in the B10.

The baby Leapmotor is also reported to feature a choice of 56.2kWh and 67.1kWh battery packs that provide a range up to 500km based on the optimistic CLTC standard. A 10-80 per cent DC fast charge allegedly takes only 16 minutes.

Driving the rear wheels is expected to be a detuned version of the 160kW/240Nm e-motor that also powers the RWD B10. A 6.4 seconds 0-100km/h time is claimed.

Later on, a range-extender hybrid version could also be offered.

So far this year, Leapmotor has delivered just 516 C10s in Australia, far short of the 3358 Geely EX5s that have found homes.
