Farizon V7E electric van confirmed for Australia: Says it will rival diesel vans on capability, but what about the price?
Chinese commercial vehicle brand Farizon will expand its Australian electric van line-up with the introduction of the new V7E.
Local pricing and full specifications are to be announced in April ahead of deliveries expected to begin in May.
The V7E will be distributed locally by Jameel Motors Australia and is aimed at urban delivery operators, small businesses and fleet buyers looking for an electric alternative to traditional internal combustion light commercial vans.

According to the company, the electric van offers a payload of more than 1300kg and 6.95 cubic metres of cargo space, with a low rear loading height and a cargo area designed for parcel delivery, tools and trade equipment.

Driving range is quoted at up to 330km on a single charge, using a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery supplied by CATL.
The V7E has been developed primarily for stop-start urban driving conditions and is intended for applications such as courier work, trade use and fleet operations where frequent loading and short delivery routes are common.
Farizon says the van will also offer a suite of driver assistance and connectivity features, including smartphone integration and safety technologies designed for commercial use, although full equipment details have not yet been released.

The V7E will join the Farizon SV (SuperVan) electric van range (priced from $71,490 plus on-road costs) already announced for Australia as the Geely-owned brand expands its presence in the local electric commercial vehicle sector.
Jameel Motors Australia represents Farizon locally and distributes a range of automotive brands across multiple international markets.
Complete specifications, variants and Australian pricing for the Farizon V7E are expected to be confirmed in April 2026.

The V7E will enter an increasingly competitive electric van segment in Australia, which has small vans such as the Peugeot e-Partner and Renault Kangoo starting at $61,990 plus on-road costs.
The most popular mid-size segment has the $69,463 drive-away LDV edeliver 7 as its price leader.
New entrants to the segment include Ford with the E-Transit Custom, while both Kia with the PV5 and BYD are expected in 2026.
The trouble for all electric vans is the price of the dominant player in the van segment, the diesel Toyota HiAce, that starts from just under $52,000.
Farizon says the V7E has been designed to compete directly with ICE vehicles on payload, cargo capacity and real-world usability. We’ll see shortly how it goes on price.
