Cadillac triples its line-up in one go! Vistiq and Optiq EVs on the way and the pricing’s surprisingly sharp
Cadillac has revealed Australian pricing and full specifications for its incoming Optiq and Vistiq electric SUVs, confirming the two new models will significantly broaden the brand’s local EV line-up alongside the existing Lyriq.
The biggest news is pricing, with the compact Optiq set to start from $80,000 before on-road costs and the larger three-row Vistiq priced from $116,000.
Both figures include GST and luxury car tax and represent the first time Australian pricing and detailed specifications have been released.

The pair will join the Lyriq, officially priced from $122,000 but frequently discounted, giving Cadillac a three-model electric SUV range in the large luxury segments in Australia.

Positioned as Cadillac’s entry point locally, the Optiq sits in the crowded premium mid-size electric SUV category.
At $80,000 it lines up against established five-seat rivals including the Audi Q4 e-tron 45 ($84,900) and Hyundai Ioniq 5 Elite ($81,200), while also landing between Tesla’s Model Y Premium Long Range AWD ($68,900) and Model Y Performance ($89,400).
Cadillac says the Optiq combines compact luxury SUV proportions with dual-motor all-wheel drive producing a claimed 224kW and 480Nm, powered by a 75kWh battery delivering an estimated 425km of range and combined energy consumption of 19.9kWh/100km.

Inside, the five-seat SUV features a 33-inch display spanning the dashboard, Google built-in connectivity, wireless smartphone integration and a 19-speaker AKG audio system, alongside a broad suite of driver-assistance technology including adaptive cruise control and lane centring assist.
Measuring 4820mm long with a 2954mm wheelbase, the Optiq offers up to 1603 litres of cargo capacity with the rear seats folded.
Above it in the range sits the larger Vistiq, which targets the growing seven-seat electric SUV segment currently occupied by models such as the Hyundai Ioniq 9 ($119,750) and Kia EV9 ($97,000–$129,250).

The Vistiq uses a dual-motor all-wheel-drive powertrain producing a claimed 459kW and 880Nm, with Cadillac quoting a 0–100km/h time of 4.2 seconds in Velocity Max mode. A 91kWh battery delivers an estimated 461km range and combined energy consumption of 22kWh/100km.
Designed as a six-seat luxury SUV with second-row captain’s chairs, the Vistiq features air suspension, active rear steering, a 33-inch display and a 23-speaker AKG audio system, with cargo capacity of up to 2271 litres with seats folded.
Both models use CCS2 charging hardware and support AC and DC fast charging, with Cadillac claiming up to 94km of range added in around 10 minutes for the Optiq and up to 104km for the Vistiq when connected to compatible high-output DC chargers.

The announcement comes as Cadillac prepares to enter Formula One racing for the first time with a Ferrari-powered racer this weekend in Australia.
