2026 Skoda Peaq: Large seven-seat electric rival for Kia EV9, Hyundai Ioniq 9 and Volvo EX90 named
Skoda has announced the production version of its bold Vision 7S concept will be renamed the 2026 Skoda Peaq when sales begin later this year.
No further details of the flagship all-electric Skoda have been released, but the new Skoda Peaq seven-seater will be positioned above the firm’s current mid-size Enyaq EV.
The Peaq is said to share an updated version of the Volkswagen Group’s MEB architecture, that already underpins the Enyaq.

Within, the new Peaq promises to major in space, while helping the brand roll out the Czech car-maker’s latest “cutting edge” technology.
“With the Vision 7S, we entered new territory for Skoda, with a clear idea of how to elevate the brand. Since then, we have introduced a new design language and further refined our product identity. Now we are bringing this innovative vehicle concept to life,2026 Skoda Peaq,” said sales and marketing Skoda board member, Martin Jahn.
“Our new flagship model takes our brand values of spaciousness and practicality to a whole new level. As of today, our bold vision for Skoda’s electric future has a name: Peaq – a clear statement of where this model belongs in our portfolio.”
Exact timings for the new Skoda Peaq have yet to be released, other than the Volkswagen Group brand announcing its launch will take place sometime in Q3 (July-September) of 2026, with sales commencing in Europe before the end of this year.
